Information regarding the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as pertains to Metal 2022, the 10th Interim Meeting of the ICOM-CC Metals Working Group – 5-9 September 2022.

Personal information is required from authors to submit their presentation on this platform. You may decline to provide your personal data. In this case, however, you will not be able to upload your proposed presentation.

ICOM-CC, as Data Controller, and Virott & Associados Lda, Lisbon, Portugal, as Data Processor, only collect and use personal data necessary to evaluate, communicate, manage, and publish submissions to Metal 2022, the 10th Interim Meeting of the ICOM-CC Metals Working Group. Therefore, the personal data you provide regarding the submission, authors’ names, contact information and other information given on the log in form will be only accessible to the ICOM-CC Secretariat, the 2020-2023 ICOM-CC Metals Working Group Coordinator, the Metal 2022 Conference Programme Chair, the Metal 2022 Program Committee, the publication Copy Editor and Publisher as well as the staff involved in processing the data at the firm Virott & Associados Lda, Lisbon, Portugal.

Your personal data will be communicated only to our authorized partners and technical service providers. Your personal data will be stored for the whole retention period which is necessary to organize and produce the event and publication and will be kept according to the applicable statute of limitations.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right to access, modify, rectify and delete data that you have shared. Under certain circumstances, by law you have also the right to:
